TRAMPKI: 10th Women's Travel Gathering
The 10th anniversary edition of Poland's only travel festival dedicated to women will take place this September in Gdańsk and Sopot. The special guest this year will be Martyna Wojciechowska.
How can you live life on your own terms without being afraid to pursue your dreams? How can you stay safe, nurture your passions, and find the courage to embrace change? These are the questions that women from all walks of life will explore together – travellers, mothers, vanlife enthusiasts, women with disabilities, and, above all, women who want to live authentically.
TRAMPki – Women's Travel Gathering is much more than a travel festival. It is a space created by women, for women – a place to meet, exchange experiences, and support one another. You don't have to travel the world or climb the highest mountains to have a story worth telling. Every journey matters.
"I'm not encouraging anyone to give up everything and set off for the other side of the world. What I do hope is that we find the courage to live life on our own terms, never give up on our dreams, and never be afraid to follow our own path," says Anita Demianowicz, the festival's founder, photographer, and author.
The anniversary edition will begin on Friday in Sopot with a special evening devoted to survival skills. The programme includes a presentation by Julia Burza on the wild nature of Scandinavia, followed by the "I've Got the Power" workshop, where participants will learn survival basics designed specifically for women. How do you prepare for emergency situations? What essentials should you always have with you? How can you improve your personal safety? This practical workshop is designed above all to build confidence and self-reliance.
On Saturday and Sunday, the festival will once again take place at the European Solidarity Centre in Gdańsk. The highlight of the weekend will be a conversation with the anniversary edition's special guest, Martyna Wojciechowska.
Visitors can also look forward to inspiring talks about solo travel, long-distance trekking expeditions, accessible travel for people with disabilities, the Northern Lights, Mongolia, and the Central African Republic. The programme also features a panel discussion entitled "Smart Travel", creative writing workshops, sessions dedicated to women's safety, and the unique "Project Syrenka – Girls and Cars" automotive workshop.
As every year, the organisers have also created plenty of opportunities to meet and connect with other participants. The festival will feature a partners' zone, a bookcrossing area, competitions with attractive prizes, and, above all, a unique atmosphere of sisterhood and mutual support. Because TRAMPki is not just about travelling – it's about a community of women who inspire one another to live life on their own terms.
